We support the Paris Agreement and believe natural gas is a natural step to achieve its goals. For every tonne of greenhouse gas emitted in Australia from our projects, about 4 tonnes of emissions are avoided globally.
Transitioning to a better future
As the world's energy use undergoes transformation, the natural gas we produce has a significant role to play. We are committed to being net zero in our direct emissions by 2050.
At the same time, we are exploring new technologies and developing new energy businesses for domestic and global markets.
