Our People

The Badgebup Aboriginal Corporation was established by Noongar people with strong family and cultural ties to the Central Great Southern region of Western Australia. Our members are motivated to develop a new model of Noongar governance, leadership and service delivery to help alleviate the widespread economic and social disadvantage in our local Noongar communities of the region.

Established in 2012, the Board has undertaken significant business and strategic planning and governance training to develop the program areas for the organisation. The members, board and staff of the organisation seek to strengthen our spiritual and cultural connections to our country through the implementation of on-country projects and social programs in partnership with other local Noongar communities and the Federal, State and Local Government Authorities, local businesses and community stakeholders.

Through harnessing the strengths of the members, local communities and external experts, BAC has successfully moved from an establishment phase of work to implementing programs with proven results.
