The Parks and Wildlife Wheatbelt Office of the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions has been a founding partner and "traveler" with BAC over the years. Providing much needed encouragement and support in the early business planning phase, the "PAW", has provided advice on potential work projects, environmental issues and technical advice on BAC projects.
BAC helped provide cultural advice and local knowledge to PAW on the cultural and social significance of important local wetlands and reserves such as Coblinine Flats and the Badgebup and Kwoberup reserves, areas that hopefully will receive funding support in the future.
BAC looks forward to the next phase of this partnership with potential work projects to be negotiated in the region for 2020 and hopefully some good news from the State office on the outcomes of the State Ranger program funding!
